50mm heaven

I’ve pretty much been wed to my 50mm lens since D birthday’ed me (see A Year Of Photos).
This article is an interesting discussion around the topic of using a small fast lens (a 50mm!) for taking most shots, and how it is no longer the normal way due to cheap zooms – “The Forgotten Lens”. Although at the end of the article it does note that a digital SLR user should be using a 35mm (or thereabouts) lens.
Oh well.
And I still owe a post on the whole 1600/800 ISO scandal of the photos I take.
