Obama ‘08: Lucy Called It!

In a somewhat failed attempt to reduce election tension in the household last night I spent sometime teaching L how to say:
Vice President Palin
Which due to instinctive reaction from D quickly led to L being conditioned into the following exchanges:
Dad: Vice President Palin
L: NOOOOOOO!!
So that was fun.
I then tried to teach the darling girl to say:
President Obama
Which she gainfully tried to do in her little not-yet-two way.
And off to bed she went.
And at about 7.45pm, 15 minutes before the west coast polls closed and NPR et al called it, we hear over the baby monitor:
‘bama
‘bama
Lucy called it.
