When you Google Gordon Waddell, you generally find a Scottish back surgeon, although I think he might also be a sports columnist. With regards to Gordon Waddell Ph.D., this is fine with me: 1) I’m happy that at least we’re both Scottish and 2) a medical pioneer is much more important than a random internet witterer. At least the random emails to me asking if I could sponsor some surgery have dropped off since I worked in Glasgow in the 90’s.

The origin of the name bluefacedpixie is quickly surmised in the inaugral post, and the reason it’s a blog is merely because I already had the machaggis.net internet site but experience with planetdanika had lead me to believe that blog/wordpress was a much better/easier content management system. Hence the number of posts.
