Tessa and someone resembling Papa
Just another day up the road from Buffalo at Niagara Falls
And as we finally catch up on most (not all, but most) photos, here are a handful from Gordon’s (my) birthday with the usual ritual trip to Tutta Bella.
We attended a big BBQ at Gasworks Park yesterday (despite it being a drench of a morning we somehow managed to have nice weather gods all afternoon). The girls were stars.
Just a Dad’s job to do
We’ve been busy. With many things. But last week we went on vacation, proving that 4 adults can (just about) manage 4 children under 4 for a week in Mexico, and that surprisingly you don’t have to be able to swim to be in 5-feet of water if you have a Dad to hang on to or pull you up from the bottom of the pool.
I’ve not been taking many photos, so please enjoy this deluge of the girls, who were my main topic of photo taking. Leslie had a little more of a bent to actually capturing the feel of the place and telling a story – read more here.
Daddy’s taking photos.
Never move with small children.
Never move at the start of the year.
Think about the stress.
Think about the work.
Think about the furniture.
Think about the decorating.
Think about the extra bathroom.
Think about the Welcome Home BBQs.
Mmmm. From Ballard, to Ballard, here’s what’s been keeping us busy.
Talk to #2
#2 is still hanging in there – despite our best efforts to convince an exit (or are we contributing to the desire to stay inside?).
One of a very random collection of photos mopping up the rest of October.
I’m the first kid who’s ever done this!
I survived a trip to Scotland solo-Dadding Lucy. Here is a selection of photos with a heavy bias to the girl.
Pizza 1 – go
Lucy eats pizza at G’s birthday. There’s a few photos here but Pizza 1/2/3/4/5 is a lesson in… pizza eating.
Little Red Riding Hood
So it turns out a relaxing weekend in Whistler doesn’t lead to many photos. Not a single one with mountains. But here’s a nice little hike we took.
