The End and The Beginning
The End:
Yesterday was my last day at Olympic Athletic Club, where Ive worked for nearly 3 years. It felt a bit surreal, and I dont think it has fully sunk in yet. My co-workers responded to my departure with grace. I came in to my office to find flowers, 2 gift certificates to local restaurants, a Starbucks card and a couple goodbye cards. I feel so loved!
The Beginning:
Today I will start my new job as Accounting Manager at a start-up in downtown Seattle. Ill be taking the bus to work for the 1st time in years. I cant wait to have all that time to read each day!
At this point, it feels like an adventure and I am definitely excited. Its not as good as traveling, but I hope it will open some doors for me.
