“Eat. Pray. Love.”

“Eat. Pray. Love.” What a great title, huh? I just finished reading this book. “What?” you say, “You have time to READ?” Well, this is aided in large part by the fact that I had the stomach flu and did absolutely nothing for 2 days. G, in typical fashion, did absolutely everything- from looking after Lucy to doing laundry to getting DVDs for me to watch. The man is a saint. In any case, I was able to catch up on some reading.

A self-described “memoir of self-discovery”, this book chronicled the author’s “search for everything across Italy, India and Indonesia” (note: this is also the subtitle of the book). It’s a sweet little book. I like the author’s style and I enjoyed her experiences of places that have been dear to me as well (namely Italy and Bali). So that’s my recommendation. Pick it up if you’re so inclined.

One of my favorite quotes (by the author’s sister) from the book: “Having a baby is like getting a tattoo on your face. You really need to be certain it’s what you want before you commit.”
